As part of the Affle group, we are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team, whose main function will be to develop for the main products we offer to users: the API and the web frontend About mediasmart: mediasmart is part of the Affle group - a global adtech company that completed its successful IPO in India in 2019 and has been growing profitably since. Affle group has been in the adtech/martech business for over 15 years and runs multiple ad platform businesses including Appnext, MAAS, mDMP, Jampp, RevX, Vizury, Youappi in addition to mediasmart. Some of the key investors in Affle Holdings include Microsoft and D2C (JV between NTT DoCoMo and Dentsu). At mediasmart, our mission is to allow advertisers to effectively reach audiences across their digital journeys in real time, while maximizing engagement with campaigns and their incremental value to advertisers. mediasmart was one of the first players to enter the programmatic mobile ecosystem and to date our proprietary technology stack includes a DSP, DMP and Ad-Server, as well as direct connections to more than 30 ad exchanges where we buy display, video and native ads on mobile apps, Connected TVs, DOOH and desktop. The mediasmart business is headquartered in Spain having fast growing global teams across APAC, LATAM in addition to Europe. Summary and Duties: As a Senior Frontend Engineer in our product technology team, you will play a key role in developing our web platform, serving large agencies and direct customers. Your responsibilities will span the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept to DevOps and deployment. - Deliver new features in short development cycles. - Polish a web-based platform (frontend and backend) with users all over the world. - Proactively improve and propose projects to make our product more effective and easy to use. - Interact with other teams to build new features or solve technical issues. - Individuals with stronger backend and cloud abilities will find this position customizable to their skills. Requirements: - At least 4-5 years of experience as a frontend or backend developer - Strong knowledge of Javascript and ES6 - Familiarity with TypeScript. - Experience with React - Basic knowledge of CSS stylesheets (SASS, PostCSS, etc.) - Wide experience with Node.js and REST APIs - Proficiency with MongoDB database and Mongoose - Fluent with command line Git commands - Familiarity with Redis caches, its data structures and operation commands - GNU/Linux administration - Exposure to cloud: AWS, GCP, Azure... - Proficiency in Spanish (native level), both oral and written, as this is the language used for interaction with the team. - Fluent in English, both oral and written, as this is the language used for interaction with most of the stakeholders and the business language for all our tools and documentation. Desirable requirements: - Experience working in a distributed team - AWS: In particular EC2, S3, Route53, Elastic Transcoder, load balancing, and CloudFront - SQL: In particular GCP BigQuery dialect - Jest and React Testing Library - Express.js - Experience linting with ESLint and Husky - NextJS - Redux and Redux Toolkit - Material-UI and Storybook If you are selected you will have to be ready to show us your most relevant projects, and enter a selection process that will include reading and writing JavaScript code.
